In 1994 Mark Carter started a business as an arboricultural contractor which developed into MJC Tree Services Limited. A steady increase in demand for arboricultural consultancy services led to the decision, in 2004, to cease all contracting operations and concentrate solely on the consultancy side of the business. Mark accepts and successfully carries out instructions from a wide range of clients, including domestic, corporate and local authority, and works principally on the Isle of Wight and in Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire, providing an independent and professional consultancy service.

Through a combination of hard work, professional studies and integrity, Mark is now nationally recognised and respected as an arboricultural consultant. He serves on the Media & Communications Committee of the Arboricultural Association, the foremost professional body in the UK,  advising the Government amongst others, and often writes articles for publishing in trade magazines and journals.
