Mark Carter has received specific training in the Council Of Tree & Landscape Appraisers methodology of tree valuation which is based on universally accepted principles of valuation and calculates a depreciated replacement cost for trees that are lost, damaged or require valuation for insurance or inventory reasons.

A Regional Plant Appraisal Committee is now established in the UK and is making the slight alterations to the details needed to adapt this North American system to the UK environment.

It is likely that this system will become the national standard for UK tree valuation in the near future.
